Places to review

Here’s a small list of places I heard about that I need to go check out or that I’ve yet to write a review on.

I know, I’m a bit slow but I have a day job too :) I really, really appreciate your comments though.

I’ve also decided to stop writing reviews until I get myself a proper camera. My iPhone photos are a joke, I’ve still got the 3G and the camera is terrible.

    Great Idea, this website!
Normally I don’t like tooting my own horn, but I suggest to visit Devil’s Kitchen in the Raval.
Hamburgers made of 100% fresh ground beef, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, sautéed onions and cheese – nothing else! Grilled on a Lava grill, not on the plancha. You have a choice of sauces, like a German mustard, or home made spicy tomato or barbecue sauce. For the lovers of extra spicy food, we have a Hot Mamas Jalapeño sauce – Ouch!!
We serve also chicken burger and home made veggie burgers – made exclusively with fresh vegetables, no tofu nor soy!
The place is small, but cosy, and we show German football in the back room.
    C/ de la Lleialtat, 4
    Nearest Metro is Parallel.
Not easy to find, so better check the map on our website.

Haven’t been to the Betty Ford’s but heard from a few of my pals that it is, like you put it, the meanest burger in town.
Not trying to be a pain in the ass, but I cannot see how “Pim Pam Burger” could possibly score anywhere near Betty Ford. Pim Pam serves fresh but mediocre quality meat, the offer is very basic, fries are handcut and fresh but served with the awful supermarket ketchup and mayo.
I seriously suggest you try Kiosko. Organic charcoal grilled burgers, 12 varieties, can’t really decide which one is more amazing than the other. Home made ketchup-like sauces (absolutely delicious!!!), handcut french fries and “rustic” fries with the Catalan “aliolli” (mayo like sauce) made from charcoal roasted garlic!! Holly crap I’m getting hungry and I just had lunch! :) It’s usually so rammed you can’t even get in, for a reason..U’ll never forget those burgers!
    Check it out for yourself:
    Keep up the good work!
